Animal Charities

Where would our pet community be without local animal charities and shelters?

It is a sad fact that thousands of animals are left without a home every year and without the tireless efforts of animal charities they would be left without food, shelter or, for wildlife, much needed medical treatment.

Here are some local organisations we encourage you to support!

Purrs of Point Cook

Purrs of Point Cook Inc. is a not-for-profit, no-kill rescue group, run solely by volunteers. They rescue stray, unwanted and unloved cats and kittens from the western suburbs of Melbourne and find them loving furrever homes.

All 4 Paws

All 4 paws are a small group located in the western suburbs of Melbourne who save dogs from pounds and surrenders and help find them their new families.

Golden oldies

Golden Oldies is dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of old souls. They rescue many senior dogs and cats in need. Some dogs that come into care are too old, frail and have high medical needs making them unsuitable for adoption. These dogs enter a long term foster carer program where they can live out their days in a home and be loved and have all their needs met.
