Worms affect pets and humans
Worms affect the health of your pet, but can also transmit to people, especially young children. Worms can cause serious and permanent illness in humans.
It is essential to commence a worm control program from the moment you take home your new pet.
Did you know that puppies and kittens are born with certain types of worms?
They pick up others from:
- eating carriers, such as insects, mice, birds
- other animals
- contaminated environments
- raw meat
The worms that we control in pets are roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms.
If you have a new pet or your adult pet hasn’t been wormed in the past 3 months, please contact us.
