Dr Pat Chan - Veterinary Director

BVSc (Merit)

Currently on paternity leave

Hi my name is Pat. I have worked in small animal practice ever since I graduated. I have been at Dr Paws Lane Cove for 1.5 years. My role here is to ensure we deliver outstanding customer service and veterinary care to all our clients at their fur babies.

I enjoy all aspects of general practice, however, I have an interest in dentistry, which I am doing further study in and preventative medicine as well as geriatric medicine. I enjoy forming relationships with clients and their pets and helping their pets be the best they can be.

I have two cats myself, Tigger the 10 year old naughty tortie, and Oscar a 4 year old Ragdoll, who both hate each other, but tolerate one another. When I am not at work, you will find me chilling with my two cats and my wife - of course, eating out at yummy places (I am a foodie), going to the movies, snorkeling and snowboarding.

Dr Edwina Palmer -Veterinarian

BApplSc BVSc MANZCVS (equine Surgery)

I have been a practicing Veterinarian for 5 years working with both equine and small animals, and am really enjoying getting to know you and your pets here at Dr Paws.

I  have a special interest in ultrasound and surgery, particularly orthopedics, I am also commencing animal acupuncture study this year which is exciting!

I have an 11 year old pug Waffle and a beautiful Burmese boy named Wilson who is 9 years old . Outside of work I enjoy pilates and keeping fit!

Dr Louise Livingston - Veterinary Surgeon

BVSc (Hons) BMedSc (Hons)

I was born in Sydney and have been a small animal Veterinarian for 20 years - but it definitely doesn’t feel like that long ago! I recently relocated from Port Macquarie where I owned a Veterinary Hospital for 13 years.

I am new to the team at Dr Paws but plan to be around for a long time, so will hopefully get to meet all the pets and clients that come to visit us here.

I have always enjoyed working general practice, but have a particular liking for soft tissue surgery, oncology and sonography.

Like every animal lover, I seem to acquire pets. My youngest pet is a little Griffon called Ted. I also have a rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Izzy and a cranky feline senior citizen named Slinky.

In addition to my furry friends, I am also a mum to 3 little humans, Ashley, Elijah and Harley, so in my spare time I travel north to Port Macquarie and run the dogs along the beautiful beaches there.

Holly - Veterinary Nurse

I joined Dr Paws Lane Cove in September 2019, after settling in Bondi. I am from the UK and qualified in 2017 after working 5 years in a small but very busy London clinic.

I typically enjoy all aspects of nursing, especially anaestheisa and medical nursing. I have a flat coated retriever named Lottie who is 9 years old, and a black fluffy cat named Oscar, 10 years old, who I miss lots!

I look forward to meeting your fur babies!

Ashleigh - Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Hiii! My Name is Ashleigh and I'm one of the soon-to-be qualified Veterinary Nurses here at Dr Paws Lane Cove.

I absolutely love animals and have been passionate about the industry since I was a child. Prior to starting my journey as a Nurse I spent 5 months working in camps in South Africa and Botswana to become a qualified field guide, learning all about conservation and wildlife.

I have two cats, a tiny mischievous ragdoll named Miso and a lazy fat boy named Boom. In my spare time I really enjoy ocean swimming, mountain biking, trail running and napping.
